Relocation Today is proud to endorse the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of our commitment to sustainable global mobility. Our earlier EcoVadis Bronze Medal recognition affirmed this commitment, and the SDG endorsement builds on that foundation.

The SDGs are 17 global goals created to address the world’s most pressing challenges. They include climate change, inequality, and responsible resource use. We believe businesses of every size — including those in the relocation and mobility industry — play an important role. Therefore, Relocation Today is committed to doing our part.

Our work aligns most closely with these goals:

  • SDG 13: Climate Action – reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable relocation practices.

  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – encouraging responsible use of resources in our operations and supplier partnerships.

  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – supporting fair and ethical business practices that value people.

  • SDG 2: Zero Hungervolunteering with The Food Group, a Minnesota nonprofit that fights hunger and promotes nutrition equity.

Why the SDGs Matter in Global Mobility

The relocation industry connects people, companies, and communities. Every move requires logistics, resources, and partnerships that affect both society and the environment. As a result, aligning with the SDGs ensures that Relocation Today makes sustainable global mobility a core part of how we serve our clients.

We shared our perspective in ESG in Global Mobility: A Small Business Perspective. In that post, we explained how small organizations can make meaningful contributions to sustainability. In addition, this new endorsement continues that journey. It also reflects our hands-on approach. For example, we advance sustainable practices within our operations and support clients during times of crisis such as wildfire relocation support.

Our endorsement of the SDGs signals to clients and partners that we commit to responsible growth, ethical business practices, and a shared vision for a better future. Moreover, we will continue sharing our progress and showing how sustainable global mobility can create positive change.

We are excited to join the many organizations advancing the SDGs. Finally, to learn more, visit the United Nations SDGs here: https://sdgs.un.org/goals.
